Dance History Society of India is India's only forum for dialogue and discussion on dance heritage and history. It has many renowned dancers as members and associates worldwide and membership is restricted to adults above 18 years of age; dance enthusiast and those interested in dance discourse. An annual convention by rotation in metros will be held and attendance given free of cost to members. Papers read at convention will be selected for featuring in newsletter; attendance.

INDIVIDUAL Annual Membership........Rs. 1000/- ($25; € 20) Members get attendance free

Life Membership........Rs. 10000/- ($200; € 100) Members get attendance free and no charges for annual conventions

INSTITUTIONAL Annual Membership Rs. 2000........2 copies of attendance and all other published books at 50% discount

LIFETIME........Rs. 25000/- same as above plus 5 delegates non-fee pass to annual convention.
